Inspection
At Streamline Performance we do vehicle Inspections in accordance with state regulations to make sure you are safe and sound in your vehicle.
A vehicle inspection is a procedure mandated by the government in which a vehicle is inspected to ensure that it conforms to regulations governing safety, emissions, or both. Inspections can be required at various times, e.g., periodically or on the transfer of title to a vehicle.
Road worthiness or street worthiness is the ability of a car to be in a suitable operating condition or meeting acceptable standards for safe driving and transport of people, baggage or cargo on roads or streets, being therefore street-legal.
Vehicle Inspections can be for many reasons including:
- Being transferred to a new owner,
- Being registered after a period of being unregistered,
- Being registered for the first time (excluding brand new production vehicles), e.g. used imported cars, individually constructed vehicles, etc., or
- Has been labeled an roadworthy vehicle by a member of the police.
Vehicle inspections help determine if a vehicle is safe to drive, or if it was stolen or includes stolen parts.
